recognizing and responding to other
elephants’ pain, sadness and even joy.

Why I Coach

Being coached has transformed my life during transitional seasons. I have not only survived life’s many challenges, but embraced myself and my circumstances, experiencing joy even in the darkness.

I have a strong desire to walk alongside other women in their journeys, embracing a sense of thriving in life, not just getting by or making it through each day. I am driven to see others transform. I specialize in working with women in transition whether it be career change or enhancement, starting your first job out of college, moving through the challenges of parenting adult children, or health and wellbeing. My coaching approach is to provide structure and accountability to help you access your own essence and wisdom, to be resilient, move forward and perform at your best.

My Professional Background

I am certified by Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and International Coaching Federation (ICF). Some of the methodologies I employ are Positive Intelligence, values assessment, and life mission and visioning. I have stayed connected to and in service to my community while working with diverse and marginalized individuals and groups to achieve team goals, peak performance and more rewarding relationships.

After receiving my undergraduate degree in psychology from Stanford University, I worked as a psychometrician in a cocaine clinic in inner city Philadelphia. I grasped in a new way the need for preventative services and the importance of connection. After earning my Masters in Education and Psychological Services from University of Pennsylvania, I became an educator and high school counselor.

My Journey

I have three beloved and unique kids. Parenting, on a good day can be challenging. Add substance use disorders, mental illness, and caring for a parent with dementia into the mix and it can become debilitating. After my second diagnosis of breast cancer, I sought help through counseling and coaching.

Life is not easy. Whether you are grieving your health, the loss of a loved one, a job, your kids launching or are simply not feeling motivated in your current season, I’d welcome the opportunity to aid you in feeling empowered, fulfilled and full of joy.

Mission

My professional mission is to partner with you to shut out the negative voices that hinder your productivity and relationship satisfaction, to embrace your own unique giftedness.

I specialize in working with women in transition, whether it be career change and growth, moving through the challenges of parenting adult children, graduating from college to first job, revamping after a divorce or dealing with a health crisis. My coaching approach is to provide structure and accountability to help you access your own essence and wisdom, to be resilient, move forward and perform at your best.
